We would like to humbly request Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, and DC, to make Asolute Batman more chonkey. While he is still a large man, with his muscle and height, we think adding more fat to that ratio would be a wonderful decision, and create more distinction between mainline Batman and Absolute Batman.
Having Absolute Batman be more rounder can still realistic to his fitness, one can still be large and have a lot of muscle and moveability. Strength and fitness do not have a single body type, there are many. And it can even add more to his character, such as more weight, which can be an advantage when going up against villians.
While a lot of Bruce's character as a whole, not just in The Absolute Universe but all universes, regards his attractiveness. Plus size people can actually be very conveniently attractive. And once again, considering Bruce's already large size in this comic run, him becoming larger will not have much of an effect on his overall attractiveness to audience members.
As Absolute Batman is already extremely large a change like this should not jeopardise his story or arc at all. While we acknowledge making artistic changes to a characters design mid comic run can be difficult and an annoying procedure, we feel it will be an easy change for the talented writers and artists at DC.
