This petition has been created to bring together women and allies who believe in dignity, respect and accountability in leadership.
We have come together in response to recent public remarks that amount to Digital Gender-Based Violence by Hon. Elijah Kururia.
His remarks that demean women based on age and reproductive status.
This group exists to peacefully, lawfully and collectively petition for accountability and a public apology from him.
Our purpose is simple: To affirm that no woman’s worth is defined by her ability to bear children, stand against online abuse and misogyny by engaging the relevant institutions through lawful and respectful advocacy.
As women, there is a need to support one another with empathy and unity.
This is a safe space ladies.
